I didn’t start in marketing. My first taste of “career” was slogging through accounting, private equity, and fintech internships in Singapore—until I realized I was allergic to cubicles. Instead, I taught myself content creation, live streaming, and the mechanics of digital branding, building a “Fit Gamer” persona that landed me sponsorships but not a living.
That hustle got me in the door at Eliphant, a regional esports marketing agency, where I learned live production and event campaigns from the ground up. I moved on to co-create content and podcasts for a gaming startup, worked behind the scenes in Singapore’s early esports scene, and figured out just how far passion alone would (and wouldn’t) take me.
Real growth happened when I joined PRISM+, the e-commerce startup that became Singapore’s top smart home brand. There, I led digital marketing for 7-figure campaigns, influencer programs, and product launches—moving real revenue with a team of five and a war chest that felt even smaller. I burned out, pivoted to remote e-commerce and agency roles, and stacked up hands-on experience in SEO, paid ads, community building, copywriting, and content systems.
When Web3 took off, I ran GTM for NFT launches, managed marketing at fine art marketplaces and blockchain dev shops, and saw first-hand what happens when hype meets execution (and sometimes misses).
A family move to Cambodia and Taiwan dropped me into the deep end of old-school business. I helped modernize a luxury lighting company and built my own digital asset portfolio on the side—testing what works in the wild, not just in theory.
I also ran Nimbflow, my AI outbound agency, to turn my personal obsession with no-code and automation into a structured service offering for lean B2B businesses. The goal was to help them automate their sales infrastructure which includes lead capture to onboarding without hiring full ops teams.
Now, I’m documenting my Solopreneurship journey not as a theorist, but as someone still in the game.
I received my Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
I also have a Data Science certification from Le Wagon.
Every week or so, I share useful tips from my entrepreneurship journey to help current and aspiring founders make their first dollar on the internet without the hype.
