Struggling with subpar writers, content production, and SEO optimization?
What if there was a powerful AI writing tool that could solve all these issues and more?
Well, look no further.
In this comprehensive Content at Scale review, I’ll reveal the ins and outs of this game-changing tool.
By the end, you’ll be eager to sign up and experience the benefits for yourself.
No doubt about it.
Let’s get started.
What Is Content at Scale?
Content at Scale is one of the latest AI writing software tools on the market that can generate an entire blog post with a single click that is plagiarism-free, fully optimized for SEO, and can pass AI detection.
It’s also the only AI writer not relying only on GPT-4’s API but combines multiple AI engines, natural language processing, and semantic analysis algorithms.
It was founded by Justin McGill, a veteran in the marketing space with over 15 years of experience.
He started a 7-figure digital marketing agency back in 2008.
He created LeadFuze in 2014, a B2B outbound sales tool that got its traffic purely from inbound SEO practices.
So, knowing the needs and struggles of a content marketer, we now have Content at Scale.

My First Impressions of Content at Scale
Having a Data Science background, I always knew the efficacy of AI writers was limited by the data it was trained on.
Most AI writers are built on top of OpenAI’s GPT models and nothing else.
They also don’t have any native SEO features.
I’ve always thought, “Why couldn’t they just include all those features into one?”
So, you can imagine my eyes lit up when I heard about Content at Scale.
I literally gave a few inputs, clicked a button, and out came an 80% SEO-optimized article that is plagiarism free and can even pass AI detection.
You’ll still need to make edits, but that’s a ton of work done.
There is no other tool right now that can do this.
This is truly a one-click solution, unlike others that can produce a blog post in one click.
But the content is barely usable.
How To Create a Blog Post in Content at Scale?
Let me give you a quick overview of the interface and project setup.
Upon clicking the “Create Project” on the dashboard, you will be prompted to enter details about your project.
Enter the following information:
- Project name
- Project URL
- Project content
- Monthly posts
- Target audience
- Tone of voice
- Translation language
- Word count range
Be specific as you can to get the highest quality AI output.
Once you are done, click “Create Project.“
Now go into your project and click “Add Content.“
The crazy thing is that you can add content from the following sources:
- A keyword
- An existing blog post URL
- A YouTube video
- A Podcast
- A custom audio file
Let’s go with the standard keyword method and click “Next.”
You then have to fill in the following fields:
- Your target keyword: Enter the KW you want to rank or a CSV filled with them.
- The word count: Control the output from a dropdown box.
- Additional context: Highly recommended to get more accurate results.
Even though the additional context says optional.
It’s mandatory for me.
You must guide the tool but not overwhelm it by giving precise instructions like, “Give me a list of 101 of the best marketing tips.”
Instead, do a quick Google search to find out what H2s competitors are using and include them in the prompt.
Follow these prompt directions:
- Write one or two sentences to steer Content at Scale in the right direction
- Click Customize for additional adjustments and outline preview, or Create Content Now to initiate writing.
Here’s an example:
Keyword: How to Build an NFT Community
Additional Context: Give a step-by-by guide on how to build a successful NFT community; why it is important to build an NFT community; why other NFT projects fail at community building; how to find good community managers.
Once that is done, click “Create Content Now.“
That’s it. You’re done, sit back and wait a few minutes for your article to be generated.
After a few minutes, return to the projects page, and your article should appear at the bottom.
Click on the title or the icon on the right to edit it.
How Good Is the Content Quality From Content at Scale?
Let’s use this paragraph to see how good the raw content is from Content at Scale.
I’ll be testing for the following:
- Factual accuracy
- Ability to pass AI detection
Content at Scale Readability
I ran it through the Hemingway Editor, and here were the results:
Readability is definitely not Content at Scale’s strength.
It struggles to write in simple language for web content.
This wasn’t an advertised feature, so you must edit the structure and sentence transitions.
Content at Scale Factual Accuracy
The section had 3 examples of NFT projects giving out rewards to incentivize participation from community members.
The statements made by Content at Scale were:
- Axie Infinity’s Axioms of Adventure event
- Cryptokitties Kities4Good reward program
- Decentraland SDK competition
If you performed a quick Google search, the first 2 are just plain wrong.
The third was pretty darn vague, as Decentraland held many competitions over the years.
I decided to regenerate the paragraph and got this instead.
It referenced a campaign Mattel Creations used to celebrate its Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series II launch.
To my surprise, it was factual.
I guess it’s unpredictable.
Either way you should ALWAYS fact-check no matter how good a tool claims to be.
Can Content at Scale Pass AI Detection?
Let’s find out.
I ran the test paragraph through some of the best AI Content Detectors, and here were the results:
|Content at Scale
|Probability of being human
Except for Winston AI, the raw output did exceptionally well to bypass AI detection.
Who is Content at Scale Good For?
Content at Scale is great for any brand, whether you are a solo creator or an enterprise looking to scale.
Here is how Content at Scale can benefit these three groups:
- Solo Creator: Unable to sustain a full-time of writers, but can compete through the content volume with CAS.
- Small Business: They might have a few in-house marketing specialists who can let CAS do the heavy lifting while they make minor edits before publishing.
- Enterprises: With an entire in-house marketing team, enterprises can pump out extremely targeted content at the speed of news sites.
So no matter who you are, this tool revolutionizes how long-form content can be produced AT SCALE that is fully optimized for search engines.
No pun intended.
Content at Scale Features
Here is the Content at Scale features list that will blow your mind.
Proprietary NLP Models
Most AI writers are just built on top of one language model like GPT-3, GPT-3.5, or GPT-4, which is why we face the following issues:
- Biases and inaccuracies because it’s trained on an extensive data set from the internet
- Unable to pass AI detection due to the detectors and generators being trained on the same language models
However, Content at Scale uses a proprietary mix of multiple AI engines and two natural language processing and semantic analysis algorithms.
Combining multiple proprietary machine learning models can improve performance because of their increased diversity and learning capabilities to produce more accurate results.
Though undisclosed for obvious reasons, I tried to ask the founder, Justin, about the other models, but he couldn’t say.
Semantic Keyword Suggestions and Scoring
Like most content optimizers, you also get access to a semantic keyword suggestion panel.
There’s also a score to give you a visual indication of the on-page SEO quality.
The difference is that the software will automatically try to include most LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords upon generation.
No other tool does this.
Or you can also just add them in yourself.
On-Page SEO Checklist
There is an on-page SEO checklist to ensure that you include best practices to hit an optimal score.
Though not guaranteed, this ensures you have the best chance of ranking on Google.
Auto Meta Information
Uniquely, CAS automatically generates all the meta information like title tag, URL slug, and meta description.
They are optimized based by scanning the top articles on the SERPs.
These will also be imported later into WordPress with the plugin.
Table of Contents
Having a table of contents is preferred by Google as it improves your readers’ experience and can also help you get ranked higher in SERPs.
This tool has also taken the liberty to do that automatically without needing a separate plugin.
Although you could also add the shortcode for one, you are already using.
This is a first for me as this is the first time I’ve seen another tool generate engagement snippets.
It can automatically generate tweets for your readers to share immediately.
Use Key Takeaways to summarize article sections and improve readability.
AI-generated content produced will also run through their built-in AI detector, a free stand-alone tool for anyone to use.
You can also scan your article for plagiarism via the built-in Copyscape integration.
Built-in AI Detector
You don’t even need to exit the application.
Their standalone AI content detector tool is integrated with the AI writer.
Content at Scale only has a WordPress plugin called the Content Machine, but a Shopify one is coming soon.
Most top-tier AI writing software will allow you to export your article via a WordPress plugin, but that’s about it.
CAS allows you to manage your post directly from the application and will even manage your internal links through the Content Machine plugin.
Content at Scale Pros
Content at Scale Cons
Content at Scale Pricing
Plans start at $48 per month for 1 user. It’s an additional $199 with SEO optimization.
They have high-tier plans if you have a larger team that produces content at scale.
Content at Scale Vs Jasper AI
I had the opportunity to use various AI writing tools, like the industry’s golden child, Jasper AI, which raised $125 million at a $1.5 billion valuation in its Series A funding round.
So, how does it compare to Content at Scale?
Here are some comparisons.
|Content at Scale
|Natural Language Models
|3 AI engines and 2 NLP and semantic analysis algorithms, including GPT-4
|An undisclosed mix of GPT-4 and others
|One-Click Blog Post Quality
|Scan the SERPs to produce an ~80% Fully SEO-optimized 2500-3000 word blog post with a table of contents, meta descriptions, key takeaways, and Click-to-Tweets
|It doesn’t scan the SERPs and has no auto SEO-optimization or rich on-page content.
|Passes AI detection
|NLP Analysis and Semantic Keyword Suggestions
|Needs Surfer SEO subscription
|Cheapest Pricing Plan
|$250 for 8 articles
|$29 monthly for 20,000 words
As you can see, they both have vastly different applications.
Content at Scale excels at helping you produce long-form articles that are SEO-optimized and almost ready to be published.
While Jasper is a general AI writing tool that excels more at short-form copywriting.
Content at Scale Alternatives
Article Forge is an excellent alternative to Content at Scale for generating articles and instant blog posts. It offers a more cost-effective option with similar features but without semantic keyword suggestions.
A primary distinction is their pricing model, which is based on the word count rather than the number of articles. With Article Forge, the maximum length of an article is limited to 1,500 words.
It uses its own proprietary ensemble language models based on Google’s algorithms. However, whether they perform on-the-fly training by scanning the SERPs is uncertain.
Similar to Content at Scale, Article Forge’s output is plagiarism-free and successfully passes AI content detection.
Pricing starts at $27 monthly for 25,000 words.
Bramework is another alternative that only focuses on long-form content. It uses GPT-3 and proprietary algorithms with Natural Language Processing (NLP) to deliver top-notch content for you.
It stands out by having keyword research tools using the Semrush integration. However, it’s not free, so you must have a separate Semrush subscription before accessing the features.
Though it has long-form specific features, it can’t generate an entire SEO-optimized blog post in one click. You can only get more extended outlines and paragraphs, but that is on the starter plan or higher.
Prices start at $17 monthly for 10,000 words.
What Makes Content at Scale Different From Other AI Writers?
The single defining factor has to be their ability to write an entire blog post that is fully SEO-optimized with minimal editing.
But unlike other AI writing tools, we must thank their foresight and initiative to include 3 AI engines, including GPT-4.
Not only do you get peak automation…
But it’s the only one that can pass AI content detection without assistance from other tools.
Should Freelance Writers Be Concerned?
Freelance writers shouldn’t be concerned because specific tasks require creativity, nuance, and a human touch, which AI writing tools cannot replicate.
Justin has even said users should take extra time to polish articles.
However, I believe these tools will replace low-level or average writers who rely 100% on this software to produce content for their clients.
Because why pay the same amount to average human writers for 1-2 articles when you can get 20-100 pieces that are fully optimized straight from Content at Scale?
Quality writers who understand these little robots’ value know they are there to serve as assistants, not replacements.
Put this in their hands; you have a force to be reckoned with.
Content at Scale Review (FAQs)
Does Content at Scale Have a Free Trial?
Unfortunately, they don’t offer a free trial because, unlike most other AI content generation tools, they aren’t making simple API calls to the OpenAI GPT models.
It takes significantly more computational resources to produce quality content.
Besides, you can request a refund within 30 days of the initial payment if you are unhappy with your first five articles.
Does Content at Scale Use GPT-4?
Yes, they do, but there are other proprietary machine-learning models they are using.
They use a mixture of 3 AI engines, including GPT-3 and 2 NLP and semantic analysis algorithms.
Does Content at Scale Have an Affiliate Program?
Yes, Content at Scale has an affiliate program where you can earn a 15% recurring commission on any of their products. That’s about $75 to $300 per month for each referral.
If you are a blogger, social media influencer, or even agency owner wanting to promote this tool to your target audience, sign up for the Content at Scale affiliate program and earn some passive income.
